Aventis Pharma announces Q2 results

Aventis Pharma Ltd has announced the following Unaudited results for the quarter ended June 30, 2006:

The Company has posted a net profit of Rs 439 million for the quarter ended June 30, 2006 as compared to Rs 342 million for the quarter ended June 30, 2005. Total Income (net of excise) has increased from Rs 2204 million for the quarter ended June 30, 2005 to Rs 2318 million for the quarter ended June 30, 2006.

The Board of Directors has declared an Interim Dividend of Rs 3.50 per Equity share of Rs 10.
