5 new trains for Tamil Nadu

The Union Minister of Railways, Shri Lalu Prasad while presenting the Interim Railway Budget 2009-10 in the Lok Sabha today, announced the introduction of 43 new trains which include four Garib Raths.

Out of 43 new trains, 5 were announced for Tamil Nadu.

Bilaspur-Tirunelveli via Thiruvananthapuram Express (Weekly)
Sengottai-Erode Passenger (Daily)
Tiruchchirapalli-Madurai Express (Daily)
Mumbai-Tirunelveli Superfast via Thiruvananthapuram (Bi-weekly)
Coimbatore-Tuticorin Link Service (Daily)
