Chambal Fertilisers announces Q1 results

Chambal Fertilisers & Chemicals Ltd has announced the following Unaudited results for the quarter ended June 30, 2006:

The Company has posted a net profit of Rs 371.90 million for the quarter ended June 30, 2006 (Q1 FY 06-07) as compared to Rs 514.70 million for the quarter ended June 30, 2005 (Q1 FY 05-06). Total Income (net of excise) has increased from Rs 4750.50 million in Q1 FY 05-06 to Rs 5370.30 million for Q1 FY 06-07.
