Former President Venkataraman's ashes to be immersed at Haridwar tomorrow

The ashes of former President Shri R Venkataraman will be immersed in the holy Ganga river at Haridwar tomorrow. The urn containing the ashes will be brought to Haridwar by the Dehradun Shatabdi Express. An Inter-Services Guard of Honour will be presented at his New Delhi residence – 5, Safdarjung Road before the procession is led by the family at 0600 hrs.
