Venus Remedies launches another new product MUCOMELT-FORTE

Venus Remedies Ltd has announced that keeping in line with its focus on the Anti-infective segment the Company has launched another fantastic anti-biotic, MUCOMELT-FORTE, further expanding the Product basket for its Domestic Operations.

The BIOCARD division of the Company has launched the FDC of Cefixime with N. Acetylcysteine, for the first time in India. This unique combination has been launched in the Anti-biotic segment for the treatment of Respiratory tract infections and COPD. This new formulation shall be a boon for the Bronchitis patients, especially because the Acetylcysteine counters the high oxidative stress in the respiratory tract. It further fortifies the efficacy of Cefixime antibiotic by inhibiting the adherence of S. Pneumonia & H. Influenza, thus enhancing the antibiotic penetration. The formulation is proved to be a superior cure as compared to treatment with other antibiotics like Cefaclor and Cefuroxime.

This new launch has added another Brand in the range of the Company’s product basket for the Respiratory segment and is expected to do good business in the coming times.
