Gale winds speed reaching 65-75 kmph gusting to 85 kmph are likely along and off Tamil Nadu & Puducherry coasts during next 12 hours. Sea condition is high along and off these coasts.
Storm surge of about 1.0 meter above the astronomical tide is likely over coastal areas of Thiruvalur and Nagapattinam districts of Tamil Nadu at the time of landfall.
