September 16, 2008: GEO India 2008, India's flagship oil and gas industry event, will be held from 16th to 19th this month at Expo XXI, Greater Noida. Mr. Murli Deora, India's Minister of Petroleum and Natural Gas, will be inaugurating the Conference at 9.30 am on Wednesday, 17th September.
GEO India brings together professionals from all over the world and provides them with a platform for an exchange of ideas on petroleum exploration processes and techniques. It is also the first time that the American Association of Petroleum Geologists (AAPG) is helping to organize a Conference in India.
The exhibition – which runs parallel to the conference – will be opened by Mr. Dinsha Patel, Minister of State for Petroleum and Natural Gas at 11.30 am on 17th September.
