OKAYA Power Setting up SMF Battery Plant with an Investment of Rs. 50 Crores

New Delhi, 11 September 08, OKAYA Power Limited, manufacturers of OKAYA Japanese Technology Inverter & UPS Specialist Batteries, is setting up a state of the art manufacturing plant in Himachal Pradesh with a capacity of 8.4 lacs SMF batteries per year with an Investment of Rs. 50 crores for producing world class SMF batteries for various Industrial & Domestic utilities and have products for all segments be it telecom, railways, UPS, inverters, photovoltaic, electric vehicle etc. The commercial production is expected to start by November ‘08.

OKAYA SMF plant will be equipped with latest and most advanced sophisticated equipments imported from various countries around the world, which are run by highly qualified and experienced team of professionals who have been continuously developing new products to meet customer's requirements.

Battery offerings of OKAYA are ever increasing with launch of Solar Tubular Batteries, Generator specific batteries, 2V Telecommunication Cell, 6V LMLA batteries for Railways, Okaya fast charge battery, Main Battle Tank defence batteries, VRLA Gel batteries, Hybrid batteries, Calcium batteries, Clean top Batteries, Deep discharge batteries (SMF & lead acid), Transparent SAN Container batteries, High rate discharge battery, Wind Power Storage battery, and many more to come in the near future.
