Manappuram General Board Meeting on Aug 29, 2008 to consider preferential issue

Manappuram General Finance & Leasing Ltd has announced that a meeting of the Board of Directors of the Company will be held on August 29, 2008, mainly to consider raising of capital by way of preferential issue to such of the investors including the promoters as the Board may think expedient in the best interests of the Company.
