Chambal Fertilisers and Chemicals Limited has published its consolidated unaudited financial results for the first quarter ended June 30, 2026 (Q1 FY27). The company recorded strong sequential recovery in revenue and profitability compared to Q4 FY26, driven by higher seasonal demand in its complex fertilisers and crop protection segments.
Consolidated Financial Highlights
For Q1 FY27, Chambal Fertilisers reported a consolidated Net Profit After Tax (PAT) of ₹523.60 crore, down 4.61% year-on-year compared to ₹548.89 crore in Q1 FY26, but registering a substantial expansion over the ₹169.24 crore recorded in Q4 FY26.
Total consolidated income for the quarter stood at ₹5,053.96 crore, compared to ₹5,740.93 crore in Q1 FY26 and ₹2,813.84 crore in Q4 FY26.
Revenue from Operations: Stood at ₹5,027.02 crore for Q1 FY27, down 11.77% year-on-year from ₹5,697.61 crore in Q1 FY26, but up 80.50% sequentially from ₹2,785.03 crore in Q4 FY26.
Other Income: Reached ₹26.94 crore, compared to ₹43.32 crore in Q1 FY26 and ₹28.81 crore in Q4 FY26.
Profit Before Tax (PBT): Came in at ₹746.72 crore, compared to ₹753.52 crore in Q1 FY26 and ₹215.04 crore in Q4 FY26.
Share of Joint Venture: The company recorded a net loss of ₹25.10 crore from its joint venture (accounted for using the equity method) during the quarter, compared to a profit share of ₹36.12 crore in Q1 FY26.
Total Expenses: Stood at ₹4,282.14 crore in Q1 FY27 against ₹5,023.53 crore in Q1 FY26. Key expenditure drivers included cost of materials consumed at ₹1,482.39 crore and purchases of stock-in-trade at ₹2,440.71 crore.
Total Comprehensive Income: Reached ₹543.85 crore for Q1 FY27, compared to ₹609.06 crore in Q1 FY26.

1. Segment Revenue
Own Manufactured Fertilisers: Generated revenue of ₹2,859.98 crore in Q1 FY27, compared to ₹3,108.50 crore in Q1 FY26 and ₹2,431.59 crore in Q4 FY26.
Complex Fertilisers: Recorded revenue of ₹1,736.66 crore, compared to ₹2,130.87 crore in Q1 FY26 and ₹322.95 crore in Q4 FY26.
Crop Protection Chemicals, Speciality Nutrients and Seeds: Reached ₹430.38 crore in Q1 FY27, up from ₹30.49 crore sequentially in Q4 FY26 and compared to ₹458.24 crore in Q1 FY26.
2. Segment Profitability (PBIT)
Own Manufactured Fertilisers: Segment profit before finance costs and tax stood at ₹431.77 crore (vs. ₹461.29 crore in Q1 FY26).
Complex Fertilisers: Segment profit surged to ₹238.71 crore (vs. ₹142.87 crore in Q1 FY26 and a loss of ₹11.51 crore in Q4 FY26).
Crop Protection Chemicals, Speciality Nutrients and Seeds: Segment profit grew 12.72% year-on-year to ₹108.35 crore (vs. ₹96.12 crore in Q1 FY26).
Earnings Per Share & Share Capital
Basic & Diluted EPS: Stood at ₹13.07 per share (face value of ₹10.00 each) for Q1 FY27, compared to ₹13.70 per share in Q1 FY26 and ₹4.23 per share in Q4 FY26.
Paid-Up Equity Share Capital: Stood unchanged at ₹400.65 crore with a face value of ₹10.00 per share.
