Leading textile manufacturer Vardhman Textiles Limited has announced its unaudited standalone and consolidated financial results for the first quarter ended June 30, 2026 (Q1 FY27). Supported by steady operational momentum across its core textile and acrylic fibre operations, the company delivered double-digit top-line growth and a significant expansion in net profitability.
Consolidated Financial Performance Overview
For the quarter ended June 30, 2026, Vardhman Textiles registered strong growth across key financial metrics on a consolidated basis:
Revenue from Operations: Grew 13.30% year-on-year (YoY) to ₹2,703.08 crore, compared to ₹2,385.66 crore reported in Q1 FY26 (and up from ₹2,497.98 crore in the preceding quarter ended March 31, 2026).
Total Income: Stood at ₹2,781.14 crore, including other income of ₹78.06 crore, up from ₹2,455.96 crore in Q1 FY26.
Profit Before Tax (PBT): Rose 51.41% YoY to ₹418.07 crore in Q1 FY27, compared to ₹276.11 crore in Q1 FY26 and ₹216.61 crore in Q4 FY26. This includes a ₹15.83 crore contribution from the share of profit of associates.
Profit After Tax (PAT): Surged 51.46% YoY to ₹314.56 crore, up from ₹207.68 crore recorded in Q1 FY26. Profit attributable to the owners of the company came in at ₹309.83 crore, while non-controlling interest accounted for ₹4.73 crore.
Earnings Per Share (EPS): Basic and diluted EPS improved to ₹10.88 per share (Face value ₹10 per share), compared to ₹7.28 in Q1 FY26 and ₹6.49 in Q4 FY26.
Standalone Financial Highlights
On a standalone basis, Vardhman Textiles demonstrated robust operational efficiency:
Revenue from Operations: Expanded 13.06% YoY to ₹2,648.18 crore in Q1 FY27, up from ₹2,342.32 crore in Q1 FY26 and ₹2,440.66 crore in Q4 FY26.
Total Income: Reached ₹2,720.68 crore, compared to ₹2,414.07 crore in the corresponding period of the previous year.
Profit Before Tax (PBT): Increased 42.65% YoY to ₹379.52 crore, up from ₹266.05 crore in Q1 FY26 and ₹209.18 crore in Q4 FY26.
Profit After Tax (PAT): Advanced 41.38% YoY to ₹285.06 crore against ₹201.62 crore in Q1 FY26.
Standalone EPS: Stood at ₹9.85 per share, compared to ₹6.97 in Q1 FY26.

Vardhman Textiles operates across two primary business segments-Textiles and Acrylic Fibre:
1. Textiles Segment
The textiles segment remains the predominant contributor to the company's business operations.
Segment Revenue: Rose to ₹2,648.18 crore in Q1 FY27, up 13.06% YoY from ₹2,342.32 crore in Q1 FY26.
Segment Results (PBIT): Expanded sharply by 44.46% YoY to ₹434.36 crore, compared to ₹300.68 crore in Q1 FY26 and ₹229.80 crore in Q4 FY26.
2. Acrylic Fibre Segment
The acrylic fibre division witnessed a complete operational turnaround.
Segment Revenue: Increased 12.78% YoY to ₹78.25 crore, compared to ₹69.38 crore in Q1 FY26.
Segment Results (PBIT): Turned profitable at ₹17.60 crore in Q1 FY27, recovering from a segment loss of ₹0.86 crore recorded in Q1 FY26 and higher than the ₹11.05 crore earned in Q4 FY26.
After accounting for inter-segment revenues of ₹23.35 crore, net consolidated revenue from operations settled at ₹2,703.08 crore.
Expenses and Financial Position
Operational Expenses: Total consolidated expenses for Q1 FY27 stood at ₹2,378.90 crore, up from ₹2,191.91 crore in Q1 FY26. Cost of materials consumed was the largest expense component at ₹1,450.36 crore, while employee benefits expenses were recorded at ₹226.77 crore and depreciation/amortisation expenses came in at ₹126.29 crore.
Finance Costs: Remained stable at ₹23.13 crore for the quarter, compared to ₹22.53 crore in Q1 FY26.
Balance Sheet Scale: As of June 30, 2026, total consolidated assets expanded to ₹14,122.45 crore (including capital work in progress and capital advances of ₹794.17 crore), up from ₹12,674.86 crore as of June 30, 2025. Total consolidated liabilities stood at ₹1,053.38 crore.
