Engineering and infrastructure conglomerate Larsen & Toubro Limited (L&T) has reported its financial performance for the first quarter ended June 30, 2026 (Q1 FY27). The company achieved solid top-line expansion and double-digit profit growth, underpinned by robust execution across its core EPC verticals and sustained order momentum.
Consolidated Financial Highlights
L&T reported total consolidated revenue from operations of ₹67,941.74 crore for Q1 FY27, marking a 6.69% year-on-year (YoY) growth compared to ₹63,678.92 crore in Q1 FY26. Total income for the quarter reached ₹70,318.47 crore, up from ₹65,035.70 crore in the year-ago period.
Consolidated net profit after tax (attributable to owners of the company and non-controlling interests) rose 15.51% YoY to ₹4,988.03 crore, compared to ₹4,318.17 crore in Q1 FY26. Net profit attributable directly to the owners of the company stood at ₹4,122.85 crore (up 13.98% YoY from ₹3,617.19 crore).
Profit before tax (PBT) reached ₹6,922.26 crore, registering an 18.14% YoY increase over ₹5,859.53 crore reported in Q1 FY26. Total tax expenses for the consolidated entity stood at ₹1,939.41 crore.
The company's basic earnings per share (EPS) for the quarter rose to ₹29.97 (diluted EPS at ₹29.96), compared to ₹26.30 in Q1 FY26. Total comprehensive income for the quarter came in at ₹5,825.84 crore.
Standalone Performance
On a standalone basis, L&T generated revenue from operations of ₹36,024.07 crore during Q1 FY27, up 7.63% YoY compared to ₹33,470.73 crore in Q1 FY26. Total standalone income reached ₹40,118.48 crore, compared to ₹36,076.73 crore in the corresponding period of the previous year.
Standalone profit after tax (PAT) expanded 27.83% YoY to ₹4,455.26 crore, against ₹3,485.30 crore in Q1 FY26. Standalone profit before tax stood at ₹5,180.05 crore, up 28.22% YoY from ₹4,040.09 crore. Standalone basic EPS for the quarter was ₹32.39.
Order Inflow and Order Book Momentum
L&T secured orders worth ₹108,014 crore at the group level during the quarter ended June 30, 2026, registering a 14% YoY growth. Order wins were driven by key segments including Residential & Commercial buildings, Transportation Infrastructure, Ferrous Metals, Offshore Wind, and Heavy Engineering.
International orders accounted for ₹60,702 crore, representing 56% of total order inflows during the quarter.
As of June 30, 2026, the company's consolidated order book expanded to ₹778,954 crore, marking a 5% increase compared to March 31, 2026. International orders constituted 52% of the cumulative order book.

Infrastructure & Utilities: Remained the largest vertical with gross segment revenue of ₹22,143.53 crore and segment results of ₹804.41 crore.
Technology, Platforms & Services: Contributed gross revenue of ₹14,719.94 crore, up from ₹12,730.18 crore in Q1 FY26, with segment results growing to ₹2,353.78 crore.
Energy - Conventional: Recorded gross segment revenue of ₹14,246.31 crore (up 14.27% YoY from ₹12,467.57 crore), delivering segment results of ₹966.74 crore.
Energy - Green: Generated revenue of ₹5,607.09 crore with segment results of ₹321.59 crore.
Financial Services: Reported gross revenue of ₹5,041.69 crore (up 26.96% YoY from ₹3,971.01 crore) and segment results of ₹1,236.26 crore.
Manufacturing & Products: Generated gross revenue of ₹4,647.63 crore with segment results of ₹593.36 crore.
Realty: Contributed revenue of ₹1,133.40 crore, more than doubling YoY from ₹534.60 crore, delivering segment results of ₹346.90 crore.
