Dredging Corporation vessel damaged in Kochi Port

Dredging Corporation of India Ltd has announced that DC Dredger DR-VIII, while in operation at Kochi, grounded after coming in contact with a vessel of Kochi Port on October 24, 2006 at 0530 hrs was subsequently pulled out with the help of the tugs of Kochi Port. The vessel is slightly damaged and needs repairs before it can be put back into operation.

The above incident was informed to the underwriters.
