Leading cold rolled formed sections manufacturer Cosmic CRF Limited announced today that it has secured multiple high-value domestic purchase orders totaling ₹862.66 lakhs (inclusive of GST). The new order pipeline expands the company's presence across two critical core sectors: the infrastructure market and the state-run Indian Railways divisions.
Infrastructure Deal Leads Inflow Volume
The single largest driver in this round of contract allocations comes directly from an infrastructure industry customer. The contract value is fixed at ₹755.20 lakhs, accounting for the lion's share of the combined gross order book value.
Under the specific product parameters outlined in the filing, Cosmic CRF is tasked with supplying 1,000 Metric Tonnes (MT) of heavy-industrial Z Sheet Piles, measured at 10 mm in thickness and 12 meters in length. The material framework will be supplied directly within domestic territories, with the company committing to an aggressive delivery schedule of less than three months from the agreement date.
Sustained Momentum in Railway Component Manufacturing
The remaining chunk of the combined order allocation reinforces Cosmic CRF's active positioning as a specialized equipment vendor for regional networks of the Indian Railways. The dual logistics orders combine for a total of ₹107.46 lakhs:
North Central Railway Allocation: Cosmic CRF secured a contract valued at ₹60.79 lakhs to fabricate and deliver 28 sets of full Body Side Arrangements designed specifically for standard BOXN (LW) wagons using Cold Rolled Formed (CRF) structural sections. The supply chain execution timeline for this production run spans four months.
Southern Railway Allocation: A second fast-track railway supply order valued at ₹46.67 lakhs has been won for the Southern division. The production run involves manufacturing 35 units of specialized Body Side Arrangements that conform strictly to RDSO Specification No. WD-12-BOXN (REHAB) 2006 (REV. 1). Given the urgent rehabilitation needs of regional rolling stock, the company has agreed to fulfill and dispatch this entire batch within a one-month window.
The multi-sector orders emphasize the diverse manufacturing capability of Cosmic CRF's primary fabrication works based out of Singur in the Hooghly district of West Bengal, providing a clear revenue visibility buffer for the current quarter.
