Public sector construction major NBCC (India) Limited has secured new domestic project orders worth approximately ₹501.45 crore (excluding GST).
Mega Infrastructure Push for Schools in Rajasthan
The largest piece of the new order win comes from the Rajasthan Council of School Education, valued at ₹430.69 crore.
Under this turnkey agreement, NBCC will lead the construction of 2,256 science laboratories across 922 government schools in Rajasthan. The dedicated educational spaces will be custom-fitted for Physics, Chemistry, and Biology practical coursework, modernizing primary and secondary science education infrastructure across the state.
Key Defense and CSR Infrastructure mandates
The remaining project bookings encompass high-tech industrial execution alongside corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiatives across three distinct states:
Defense Infrastructure for BEL (₹60.61 Crore): NBCC has been awarded an Engineering Procurement Construction (EPC) contract by Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL). The enterprise will serve as the Project Management Consultant to create specialized infrastructure facilities for National Flight Test Ranges (NFTRs).
Mizoram Tourism Facilitation (₹5.38 Crore): The company will function as the Project Management Agency (PMA) for the construction of a state-of-the-art tourist facilitation center in Aizawl, Mizoram. The project is funded under the CSR initiatives of Power Finance Corporation Limited (PFC).
Goa Educational Facility Phase II (₹4.77 Crore): Also backed by PFC's CSR arm, NBCC will step in as the PMA for the Phase II execution of a new school building at the Dr. K.B. Hedgewar Higher Secondary School of Arts, Commerce & Science located in Cujira, Bambolim, Goa.
