Avenue Supermarts Limited, the powerhouse corporate operator behind the popular DMart hypermarket chain, has clocked strong top-line numbers for the first quarter of the 2026-27 financial year. The retail giant's standalone revenue from operations climbed significantly during the three-month period ending June 30, 2026, driven by continuous network expansion and high consumer volumes.
Uninterrupted Three-Year Revenue Climb
For the first quarter of the new fiscal cycle covering April to June 2026, Avenue Supermarts posted a standalone operating revenue of ₹18,343.49 crore. This performance represents a robust year-on-year growth of 15.13% compared to the ₹15,932.12 crore logged during the corresponding quarter ended June 30, 2025.
The latest financial results extend an aggressive, multi-year growth trajectory for the company's core retail formats. Looking back across previous fiscal periods, the revenue for the June quarter has grown steadily from ₹11,584.44 crore in 2023, stepping up to ₹13,711.87 crore in 2024, and matching up to the ₹15,932.12 crore mark in 2025 before achieving its current high above the ₹18,300 crore mark.
Retail Footprint Scale and Audit Review
Alongside the revenue growth, DMart expanded its brick-and-mortar footprint across the country. The total retail store count for the company reached 503 operational locations as of June 30, 2026. This aggregate footprint includes a specific retail unit in Sanpada, Navi Mumbai, Maharashtra, which is temporarily offline and closed to shoppers to accommodate ongoing structural reconstruction work.
The management clarified that the standalone operations revenue data provided for the first quarter of the financial year remains provisional. The figures will undergo a mandatory limited review evaluation by the company's Statutory Central Auditors before final consolidation.
