Integrated Thermal Power Township: The primary driver for June was a mega EPC contract valued at ₹334.74 crores from the Damodar Valley Corporation (DVC). The project mandates the construction of an integrated township alongside allied infrastructure under Phase-II of the Raghunathpur Thermal Power Station (RTPS) in the Purulia district of West Bengal.

Additionally, it secured a ₹76.45 crore contract from the Visakhapatnam Port Authority in Andhra Pradesh to design and build a multi-storied administrative headquarters (Dr. B R Ambedkar Bhawan) within the old DCI office premises.

Agricultural Research Infrastructure: Rounding out June, NBCC was awarded a ₹35.06 crore mandate to establish the physical infrastructure for the International Potato Centre (CIP) situated at Agra, Uttar Pradesh.

Mid-Quarter Operations in April and May

The early phase of the quarter laid down solid infrastructural foundations with localized regional developments:

April 2026 Project Pipeline: Total project approvals during April reached ₹111.12 crores. This portfolio included two vital redevelopment contracts in Goa handled on an EPC basis, including a 5-year operational and maintenance framework. These comprised the redevelopment of Government Quarters (Type C & D) at St. Inez for ₹23.83 crores and the circuit house redevelopment at Altinho, Panaji, for ₹23.27 crores. Additionally, a commercial development contract covering Plots 7 and 8 in Sector 14, Kaushambi, Uttar Pradesh, brought in an extra ₹23.83 crores.

May 2026 Educational Infrastructure: May operations locked in an autonomous ₹76.29 crore institutional order for the construction of a permanent campus for the Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya (JNV) inside Noney, Manipur, executed on an EPC Mode-II format.

Through these diversified geographic wins, NBCC enters the second quarter of the fiscal year with a strengthened project pipeline spanning residential, institutional, industrial, and administrative infrastructure.
