Premier Energies recognised as Grade A Manufacturer in Wood Mackenzie's Global Solar PV Module Manufacturer Ranking 2026

Premier Energies Limited, one of India's leading integrated solar manufacturers, has been recognised among the Top 25 Global and Top 3 Indian Grade A Solar PV Module Manufacturers in Wood Mackenzie's Global Solar PV Module Manufacturer Ranking 2026.

This recognition underscores Premier Energies' growing global presence, manufacturing excellence, technological capabilities, and reliability as a trusted solar PV module supplier.

Wood Mackenzie assessed 48 module manufacturers across 10 countries, collectively accounting for 65% of global production capacity and 83% of global module shipments. Manufacturers were evaluated on a comprehensive set of criteria, including capacity utilisation, technology maturity, financial strength, supply chain resilience, ESG performance, product reliability, and research and development capabilities.

The Grade A classification serves as an independent benchmark for developers, procurement teams, and asset owners seeking dependable solar module suppliers.

Premier Energies currently operates 11.1 GW of annual solar PV module manufacturing capacity and is on track to expand its annual solar cell manufacturing capacity to 10.6 GW later this year. The company is also executing a ₹12,500 crore capital expenditure programme aimed at strengthening upstream solar manufacturing capabilities and diversifying into adjacent clean energy segments, including inverters, batteries, and transformers.

Shares of Premier Energies Limited was last trading in BSE at Rs. 1079.30 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 1078.50. The total number of shares traded during the day was 115376 in over 4143 trades.
