Arvind Fashions Limited Appoints Lakshmi Krishnan as Chief Human Resources Officer

Arvind Fashions Limited (AFL), India's leading casual and denim wear company, today announced the appointment of Ms. Lakshmi Krishnan as its Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO).

Lakshmi brings over 25 years of global experience in human resources, with a strong track record of leading transformation, building high-performing teams, and driving strategic business outcomes across geographies. Her career spans leadership roles across India, Southeast Asia, and the United Kingdom, spanning the consumer goods, financial services, and technology sectors.

Most recently, she was Head of HR for Corporate Functions at Unilever's global headquarters in London, where she partnered with the Global CFO and Chief Legal Officer to drive organisation-wide transformation across a 5,000+ employee base. Prior to this, she served as Head of HR for Unilever's Global Procurement business in Singapore, a €31 billion operation, where she led a best-in-class inclusion programme while significantly enhancing organisational effectiveness and performance.

Lakshmi holds a Master's degree in Social Work (Gold Medallist) from the University of Madras and is pursuing the CHRO Program at Wharton.

Shares of Arvind Fashions Limited was last trading in BSE at Rs. 465.25 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 450.45. The total number of shares traded during the day was 12193 in over 743 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 470.00 and intraday low of 450.35. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 5609370.00.
