PVR to take over a Cineplex at Aligarh

PVR Ltd has announced the taking over of a cineplexe, with 1275 seats, at Aligarh in the state of Uttar Pradesh on Operation & Management basis with effect from October 27, 2006.

With the taking over of this Cineplex the total number of operational screens of the company would go upto 77.

This Cineplex is eligible for exemption from the payment of Entertainment tax in terms of Entertainment Tax Exemption Policy applicable in the state of Uttar Pradesh for the remaining period of two years out of the total exemption period of Five years.
