Gravita India Finalizes Rs 559 Cr Acquisition of Rashtriya Metal

Gravita India Limited signed definitive agreements on March 12, 2026, to acquire 41,08,639 equity shares representing ~98.95% of Rashtriya Metal Industries Limited (RMIL) for INR 559.08 crore cash consideration.

Target Company Profile

RMIL manufactures copper and copper alloy products (strips, coils) with exports to UAE, USA, Thailand, Sri Lanka, Oman, Saudi Arabia, Kenya, and Indonesia. As of March 31, 2025, RMIL reported net worth Rs 300 crore, turnover Rs 910 crore (FY25), total assets Rs 558 crore, up from Rs 688 crore (FY24) and Rs 598 crore (FY23).

The non-related party transaction strengthens Gravita's capabilities in metals recycling, targeting completion by March 31, 2026.
