Kabra Drugs Limited rebrands as Aanjaay Industries, to enter into JV with Indonesian firm

Kabra Drugs Limited (BSE Scrip Code: 524322) received Ministry of Corporate Affairs approval to change its name to 'Aanjaay Industries Limited', marking a strategic pivot toward defence technology.

Name Change Approval

The Board noted MCA's name reservation approval, substituting the existing name clause. This rebranding aligns with the company's expanded business scope beyond pharmaceuticals into defence engineering and manufacturing.

Indonesia Defence Partnership

The Board approved a Bilateral Strategic Comprehensive Joint Venture Agreement with PT. Bhinneka Dwi Persada, an Indonesian firm specializing in strategic defence equipment including Rajawali 330 UAV, Rajawali Cargo Drone, Hovercraft Rajawali TD1000, and MCCV. PT. Bhinneka holds intellectual property rights over these technologies.

The collaboration focuses on development, manufacturing, procurement, and supply of defence systems, supporting India's "Make in India" initiative and India-Indonesia strategic partnership.
