KVS Castings Limited (BSE: 544554, KVSCASTING), formerly KVS Castings Private Limited, has successfully increased its overall installed production capacity and commenced commercial operations at its new manufacturing facility, Unit 2, starting from the opening of business hours on March 2, 2026.
The company's existing production capacity of 600 metric tonnes per month (7,200 MT per annum) has been enhanced to 1,600 MT per month (19,200 MT per annum), representing an addition of 12,000 MT per annum. This expansion aligns with the objectives outlined in the company's Initial Public Offer for capital expenditure on plant and machinery, aimed at meeting growing demand, improving operational efficiencies, and strengthening manufacturing capabilities.
The new Unit 2 is located at Village Baghelewala and Girdhiyai, Tehsil Kashipur, District Udham Singh Nagar, Uttarakhand - 244713. It focuses on the manufacturing and production of Cast Iron and Ductile Iron castings, with an installed capacity of 12,000 MT per annum. Previously, the company operated at 76.20% utilization of its 7,200 MT per annum capacity.
