United Breweries to amalgamate subsidiearies Karnataka Breweries, London Pilsner Breweries

United Breweries Ltd has announced that the Board of Directors of the Company at its meeting held on October 26, 2006 has approved amalgamation of its subsidiary Companies viz., Karnataka Breweries & Distilleries Pvt Ltd, London Draft Pubs Pvt Ltd and London Pilsner Breweries Pvt Ltd into the Company pursuant to sections 391 to 394 of the Companies Act, 1956 effective April 01, 2006.
