Solarworld Energy Solutions Ltd sigs BESPA for BESS systems in Gujarat

SOLARWORLD has signed a Battery Energy Storage Purchase Agreement (BESPA) with Gujrat Urja Vikas Nigam Limited on 08th December 2025 at 3 PM for the development of 200 MW / 400 MWh Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) in Gujarat.

This agreement pertains to “On-Demand” usage under Tariff-Based Competitive Bidding – Phase VI, as per the Letter of Intent (LOI) dated 28th May 2025.

The order value is approximately INR 806.40 Cr. (Excl. Taxes over 12 years)

Shares of Solarworld Energy Solutions Limited was last trading in BSE at Rs. 285.30 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 287.25. The total number of shares traded during the day was 25970 in over 549 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 287.50 and intraday low of 277.80. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 7309885.00.
