Shipping Corporation of India Ltd stock was up 5.05% at Rs.170.50, after the company announced following Unaudited results for the quarter ended September 30, 2006:
The Company has posted a net profit after tax of Rs 3212.90 million for the quarter ended September 30, 2006 as compared to Rs 1499.50 million for the quarter ended September 30, 2005. Total Income has increased from Rs 7473.70 million for the quarter ended September 30, 2005 to Rs 10977.70 million for the quarter ended September 30, 2006.
