Steel Exchange to consider merger of Vizag Profiles Ltd, to diversify into new business

Steel Exchange India Ltd has announced that a meeting of the Board of Directors of the Company will be held on October 31, 2006, inter alia, to consider and decide the following:

1. Take on record the Unaudited Financial Results of the Company for the quarter ended September 30, 2006.

2. The proposal of merger of M/s. Vizag Profiles Ltd with the Company.

3. Diversification into new business activities.
