i-flex Solutions Ltd has announced that Oracle and i-flex® Solutions has announced certification of i-flex applications with Oracle® Application Server 10g, a component of Oracle Fusion Middleware. This certification enables financial services companies to increase their capacity for growth and gain greater insight into their businesses, without significant financial or resource commitments, through the use of Service-Oriented Applications and standards-based business processes. The certification is part of Oracle’s strategy to create a comprehensive suite of business applications for the financial services industry. Oracle and Company on October 25, 2006 also outlined plans for certifying additional components of Oracle Fusion Middleware with i-flex applications.
The certification of i-flex applications, which spans the Daybreak(TM) FLEXCUBE®, Company Process Framework for Banking (iPFB) and Reveleus(TM) products, with Oracle Fusion Middleware will enable customers to more easily integrate and support their entire mix of Oracle and non-Oracle financial services and enterprise applications, while laying the groundwork for a Service-Oriented Architecture. Building on Oracle Fusion Middleware’s certification with Oracle E-Business Suite, Oracle’s PeopleSoft Enterprise, Oracle’s Retail Merchandise Operations Management, Oracle’s JD Edwards, and Oracle’s Siebel CRM applications, certification with Company allows customers to integrate Company software with a broad range of Oracle’s existing financial services applications, customer relationship management, financial, enterprise performance management and other horizontal business applications. As a result of Oracle and Company's collective best-in-class offering for the financial services industry, customers can secure their processes, transactions and customer data more easily and make more informed business decisions.
"i-flex is committed to bringing best-in-class solutions to enable financial institutions worldwide to excel in their businesses through the effective use of IT infrastructure, systems and processes," said N R K Raman, Chief Operating Officer, of the Company. "Working with Oracle to certify our applications with Oracle Fusion Middleware helps us further differentiate our solutions. We are making it easier for our customers to move to a Service-Oriented Architecture through the use of the industry’s fastest growing middleware offering."
Oracle and Company also plan to certify Daybreak, FLEXCUBE, iPFB and Reveleus with additional components of Oracle’s comprehensive middleware offerings including: Oracle Business Intelligence, Oracle Business Process Analysis Suite, Oracle identity Management and Oracle SOA Suite.
