Kalpataru Projects International Ltd's subsidiary receives favorable arbitration award

Kalpataru Projects International Limited has announced the receipt of arbitration award in favour of Wainganga Expressway Private Limited ("WEPL"), wholly owned subsidiary of the Company, appeal filed against such award by National Highways Authority of India ("NHAI") and subsequent issuance of Intention to issue Termination Notice by NHAI, respectively, this is to further update that WEPL has also on 28th June, 2025 issued an Intention to issue Termination Notice ("Notice") to NHAI due to various contractual defaults on the part of NHAI.

This is to further reiterate that in the aforesaid arbitration award dated 31st July, 2024, the arbitral tribunal has principally dealt with the similar issues which have been raised by NHAI, along with WEPL's claims and decided the matter in favour of WEPL. Considering the arbitration award on the issues and consequently amount payable by NHAI to WEPL, WEPL believes that the ongoing actions and claims will not have any significant financial implications.

The Company received intimation from WEPL on 28th June, 2025, at about 07:46 P.M.

Shares of Kalpataru Projects International Limited was last trading in BSE at Rs. 1225.40 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 1225.75. The total number of shares traded during the day was 4209 in over 441 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 1258.95 and intraday low of 1213.50. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 5139521.00.
