Wonderla Holidays Ltd gets 6 months extension to commission Chennai Park

Wonderla Holidays Limited had submitted a request to the Tamil Nadu Government for a six-month extension to commission our Chennai Park. This request was made in reference to the 24-month construction timeline specified in the Government Order dated 2nd June 2023, which set the deadline for commencing commercial operations by 2nd June 2025. The original Government Order states:

"Local Body Tax (LBT) exemption for Wonderla Holidays Limited for a period of ten years from the date of commencement of its commercial operation, subject to the condition that the commercial operation shall commence within a period of two years from 2nd June 2023."

The Company has made a representation to the Government of Tamil Nadu and successfully obtained a six-month extension to commission the project by 2nd December 2025, with the full 10-year exemption period retained.

Shares of Wonderla Holidays Limited was last trading in BSE at Rs. 673.55 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 654.65. The total number of shares traded during the day was 7065 in over 461 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 676.60 and intraday low of 646.00. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 4684596.00.
