Promax PlugUp EV Pvt Ltd, an associate company in which Promax Power Limited holds a 20.83% equity stake, has successfully developed and shipped its first indigenously designed 240 kW DC dual-gun EV fast charger to a customer based in California, United States.

This high-capacity charger has been designed and engineered over a dedicated 6-8 month R&D cycle, ensuring full compatibility with the United States electric vehicle standards. Notably, the charger supports CCS1, CCS2, and NACS (Tesla-compatible) charging protocols, enabling interoperability across a wide range of EVs, including Tesla vehicles. The 240 kW DC fast charger developed by PlugUp is distinguished by features unique in the Indian market, including a large-format advertising display screen and retractable charging guns equipped with articulated arms. These innovations, offered exclusively by PlugUp, are designed to significantly enhance the enduser experience by providing ease of handling and interactive engagement, setting a new benchmark in charger ergonomics and smart functionality.
