TCS announces the appointment of Ms. Aarthi Subramanian as President and Chief Operating Officer and Mr. Mangesh Sathe as Chief Strategy Officer

Ms. Aarthi Subramanian most recently functioned as the Group Chief Digital Officer at Tata Sons and has been on the TCS Board as a Non-Executive Member. With her appointment today, as President and Chief Operating Officer she will become Executive Director on the Board of TCS with effect from 1st May 2025.

Aarthi started her career with Tata Consultancy Services in 1989 and has been with the company till 2016, except for a brief period. While at TCS she was the Global Head of Delivery amongst other responsibilities. Over the last 8 years she has been the Tata Group Chief Digital Officer at Tata Sons, where she has been driving adoption of digital technology, innovation and AI. She has been driving multiple initiatives across the Group.

Aarthi holds a Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science from the National Institute of Technology, Warangal, India, and a Master's degree in Engineering Management from the University of Kansas, USA.

The TCS Board today appointed Aarthi Subramanian as President and Chief Operating Officer with effect from 1st May 2025.

Mr. Mangesh Sathe most recently was the Chief Executive Officer of Tata Strategic Management Group (TSMG) at Tata Sons. He has been appointed today as Chief Strategy Officer at Tata Consultancy Services with effect from 1st May 2025. Mangesh will also head the Global Consulting Practice and oversee the M&A functions of the Company.

Mangesh supported Group Chairman's Office and CEOs of Group companies in strategy and transformation initiatives. Mangesh has extensive experience across sectors such as Automotive and Industrial, Consumer, and Technology. At TSMG, he led various initiatives in areas such as growth and corporate strategy, technology led platforms, inorganic growth, operations transformation, and business incubation. Prior to TSMG, Mangesh has worked with BCG (The Boston Consulting Group) and PRTM (Pittiglio Rabin Todd & McGrath) in US and India.

Mangesh holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical from Walchand Institute of Technology, Solapur and a MBA from S.P Jain Institute of Management and Research, Mumbai.

The TCS Board today appointed Mangesh Sathe as the Chief Strategy Officer with effect from 1st May 2025. Both Aarthi and Mangesh will report to Mr. K. Krithivasan, Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director.

Shares of Tata Consultancy Services Limited was last trading in BSE at Rs. 3246.10 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 3293.55. The total number of shares traded during the day was 131136 in over 11578 trades.
