SJVN Green Energy Ltd completes trial run of 241.77 MW capacity in Phase-I of Bikaner Solar Power Project

SJVN Ltd's wholly owned subsidiary i.e., SJVN Green Energy Limited (SGEL), has achieved a significant milestone with successful completion of Trial Run of 241.77 MW capacity in Phase-I of 1,000 MW Bikaner Solar Power Project on March 31, 2025. The said capacity is currently under operation and is all set to achieve COD on April 02, 2025.

This project, with a total planned capacity of 1,000 MW, is slated for full commissioning by September 30, 2025. Upon completion, SGEL shall supply the generated solar power to three states namely Rajasthan, Jammu & Kashmir and Uttarakhand.

The 1,000 MW Bikaner Solar Power Project is poised to make a substantial contribution to India's target of achieving 500 GW of non-fossil fuel capacity by 2030 and align with the Company's shared vision of becoming a 25,000 MW Company by 2030 and 50,000 MW by 2040.

Shares of SJVN Limited was last trading in BSE at Rs. 91.28 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 91.62. The total number of shares traded during the day was 678226 in over 5859 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 92.95 and intraday low of 90.56. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 62245341.00.
