Solar Defence and Aerospace Ltd receives contract worth Rs. 239 crores

Solar Defence and Aerospace Limited (formerly known as Economic Explosives Limited) a wholly owned subsidiary of Solar Industries India Limited has signed a contract worth INR 239 Crores with Ministry of Defence, Government of India for Supply of Multi Mode Hand Grenade, to be delivered over a period of 1 year.

Shares of Solar Industries India Limited was last trading in BSE at Rs. 9035.90 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 8972.30. The total number of shares traded during the day was 2385 in over 536 trades.
