Blue Star Climatech Ltd to expand capacity at its Sri City plant

Blue Star Climatech Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of Blue Star Limited has announced the commissioning of a new assembly line for manufacturing of Room Air Conditioners at Sri City Plant.

The existing capacity is 60,000 units per month and an additional capacity of 20,000 units per month is proposed at an outlay of approx. Rs. 200 crores which will be funded through internal accruals.

The capacity shall be added in a phased manner by FY26. This additional capacity will help the Company to service the increased demand.

Shares of Blue Star Limited was last trading in BSE at Rs. 1879.75 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 1877.20. The total number of shares traded during the day was 8017 in over 800 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 1910.00 and intraday low of 1853.00. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 15058385.00.
