Kesar Petroproducts Limited commences trials at new fertilizers unit

The Board of Directors of Kesar Petroproducts Limited, at its meeting held today i.e. 22nd January 2025, considered and has approved the commencement of water trials aimed at enhancing the production capacity at its new fertilizers unit located in Ratnagiri, Maharashtra.

The Company currently produces 600 tons per month of Copper Phthalocyanine Blue Crude, 150 tons of Alpha Blue, and 250 tons of Beta Blue. With the planned increase in fertilizer production capacity, output is expected to rise to 900 tons of Copper Phthalocyanine Blue Crude, 200 tons of Alpha Blue, and 300 tons of Beta Blue per month. These colorants are widely used in industries such as printing inks, paints, plastics, paper, ceramics, textiles, glass, food, and cosmetics.

The capex was done at an outlay of Rs. 15 crore which was funded through Rs. 6.60 crore as loan and Rs. 8.40 crore from internal accruals.

Shares of KESAR PETROPRODUCTS LTD. was last trading in BSE at Rs. 28.51 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 28.90. The total number of shares traded during the day was 62498 in over 421 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 29.98 and intraday low of 27.62. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 1793765.00.
