Sesa Goa clarifies on news item, has no interest in mining of steaming coal

With reference to the news item appearing in a leading financial daily titled "Centre to open up Coal mining to private cos", Sesa Goa Ltd has clarified that, at present, the Company does not have either any supply contract or any interest in mining of steaming coal required for power generation, as stated in the news report.
