Waaree Forever Energies Pvt Ltd receives LoA for 170 MW solar power plant

Waaree Forever Energies Private Limited a wholly owned subsidiary of Waaree Energies Limited has today received Letter of Award (LoA) for the development of 170 MW Solar power plant in Madhya Pradesh, from Rewa Ultra Mega Solar Limtied (RUMSL).

The Solar power plant will enable the generation and transmission of clean energy via the Inter-State Transmission System (ISTS). The project will supply renewable energy to Madhya Pradesh Power Management Company Ltd and Indian Railways thus contributing significantly to India's renewable energy goals.

Shares of Waaree Energies Limited was last trading in BSE at Rs. 3174.05 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 3136.50. The total number of shares traded during the day was 284133 in over 20042 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 3230.00 and intraday low of 3136.50. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 904060093.00.
