Fire accident at Gopal Snacks Ltd's production unit

A significant fire accident took place at one of Gopal Snacks Ltd's production unit situated at PLOT NO. G2322-23-24, GIDC METODA TAL. -LODHIKA, RAJKOT, Gujarat, India, 360021 today i.e. on December 12, 2024 around 2:45 PM. The reason of the fire is yet to be ascertained. At present, the fire is still ongoing despite the immediate response of our internal firefighting team, as well as the presence of the local fire department, which is actively working to control the same and to ensure the safety of all personnel and mitigate further damage.

There have been no casualties or injuries to our personnel due to this unfortunate event. The exact cause of the fire is currently under investigation, and we are cooperating fully with the concerned authorities.

Further, we clarify that, the company has adequate insurance coverage and have already informed the insurance company about the incident. The company is in process of ascertaining the actual loss caused due to the fire. Company is taking steps to ensure normal operation at the plant at the earliest. Any further development related to this incident will be intimated within due time.

Shares of Gopal Snacks Limited was last trading in BSE at Rs. 451.90 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 452.20. The total number of shares traded during the day was 43863 in over 1887 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 471.00 and intraday low of 450.00. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 20197293.00.
