Ek Design Industries Ltd commences commercial production at Pune factory

Ek Design Industries Limited ('Ek Design') has announced the commencement of Commercial Production at Ek Design Factory spread over 3 Acres of land at Fursungi, Pune.

This third pillar of EFC (I), alongside Managed Office and Design & Build, marks a significant step in our strategy for backward integration through furniture manufacturing. By establishing our own manufacturing capabilities, we not only gain greater control over the quality and consistency of our products but also enhance our ability to serve external clients.

In practical terms, this means we can design and produce furniture tailored to the unique requirements of our office spaces and projects, while also having the capacity to supply high-quality products to clients beyond our organization. This dual capability allows us to streamline our supply chain and reduce lead times, as we can produce items in-house without relying solely on external suppliers.

Furthermore, this integrated approach fosters innovation, enabling us to implement new design, concepts and materials more readily. By leveraging our manufacturing facility, we can respond more swiftly to market demands and expand our reach in the furniture industry.
