Tricom India Board Meeting on Oct 28, 2006 to allot bonus shares

Tricom India Ltd has announced that a meeting of the Board of Directors of the company will be held on October 28, 2006, inter alia, to consider the following:

1. Approve the unaudited quarterly results & the text of the advertisement of the unaudited financial results for the quarter ended September 30, 2006.

2. Allot 58,09,170 Equity shares as Bonus shares to the existing shareholders of the Company.
