KEC International wins New Orders of Rs. 1,061 crores

KEC International Ltd., a global infrastructure EPC major, an RPG Group Company, has secured new orders of Rs. 1,061 crores across its various businesses:

The Transmission & Distribution (T&D) business has secured orders for T&D projects in India, East Asia Pacific and Americas:

- Transmission lines and Substation order from a reputed private developer in India

- Additional order for a Transmission line in Malaysia

- Supply of towers, hardware and poles in Americas

The Railways business has secured orders in the technologically enabled/ conventional segments in India:

- Gauge conversion: Maiden order for composite gauge conversion works

- Power Supply System for Metro: Setting up of power supply system, including receiving substation, high voltage cabling and associated civil works, from Bengaluru Metro Rail Corporation (BMRC)

The Cables business has secured orders for supply of conductors and cables:

- Supply of power transmission conductors from a renowned infrastructure player in India

- Supply of various types of cables in India and overseas

Mr. Vimal Kejriwal, MD & CEO, KEC International Ltd. commented, "We are delighted with the consecutive order wins secured across our business verticals. The orders in T&D have enhanced our order book in both domestic and international markets. Our Railway business has further expanded its presence in the technologically enabled areas of metros with the addition of a new client and secured its first order for Gauge conversion works. With these orders, our YTD order intake stands at over Rs. 3,000 crores, with a robust growth of ~30% vis-à-vis last year."

Shares of KEC International Limited was last trading in BSE at Rs. 767.85 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 772.40. The total number of shares traded during the day was 22861 in over 1465 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 781.15 and intraday low of 764.00. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 17660025.00.
