Monsanto India Board to consider interim dividend

Monsanto India Ltd has announced that a meeting of the Board of Directors of the Company will be held on October 26, 2006, inter alia, to consider the following:

1. To take on record the unaudited Financial Results for the second quarter ended September 30, 2006.

2. Declare the payment of an interim dividend, if any.
