Central Bank of India to raise capital of upto Rs. 5000 crore in FY2025

The board of directors of Central Bank of India have approved the raising of capital aggregating upto ₹5000/- crore (Rupees Five Thousand crore only) during Financial year 2024-25 through Follow-on Public offer (FPO)/Rights issue/ Qualified Institutional Placement (QIP) / Preferential issue or any other mode or combination thereof and /or through issue of BASEL III compliant AT1/Tier II Bonds or such other Securities as may be permitted under the applicable laws subject to market conditions and necessary regulatory approvals.

Shares of Central Bank of India was last trading in BSE at Rs. 65.12 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 66.19. The total number of shares traded during the day was 765567 in over 4183 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 66.72 and intraday low of 64.50. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 50029496.00.
