Kings Infra Ventures Limited enters into agreement with ICAR-CIFT for Technology Transfer

Kings Infra Ventures Ltd has signed a Memorandum of Agreement with the Central Institute of Fisheries Technology (CIFT) on Monday 29th April, 2024 for developing ready-to-eat and serve frozen fish products.

This agreement will facilitate the Technology Transfer of ready-to-heat and serve frozen products for which the institute shall provide the technical assistance, all technical know-how and hands-on training to the personnel from Kings Infra.

Kings Infra already has an MoU with CIFT for transfer of technology and development of Ready-to-Eat seafood using retort packing.

Indian Council of Agricultural Research-Central Institute of Fisheries Technology

ICAR-CIFT is a technology Institute in India, under ICAR, which caters to the entire spectrum of fisheries from harvest to post-harvest operations. The Institute provides technologies and services to the fishing and fish processing industries in the areas of craft and gear, processing including product development, packaging and waste utilisation, nutrition, microbiology and biotechnology, engineering, quality assurance and socio-economics and extension.

The Institute is desirous of establishing close linkage with the fish and fish processing industries that are willing to take up technology to protect intellectual property rights and willing to incorporate technological changes as may be required from time to time in consultation with the Institute.

Headquartered in Kochi, Kerala CIFT has been at the forefront of developing many cutting edge research projects and product development including Chitosan, development of nano sensors for precision aquaculture, rapid testing platforms, valorisation of marine and agrowaste and SMARK PACK initiative.

Shares of Kings Infra Ventures Limited was last trading in BSE at Rs. 172.50 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 175.90. The total number of shares traded during the day was 38174 in over 504 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 178.00 and intraday low of 169.75. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 6577211.00.
