Kirloskar Ferrous Industries Limited has announced that the installation of the Pulverised Coal Injection ('PCI') plant has been completed and the operations have commenced on 29 March 2024 at Bevinahalli Village, District Koppal, Karnataka.
With the commissioning of PCI plant, consumption of coke will be reduced. It will achieve savings in fuel costs thereby reduction in overall production cost.
The installation of PCI plant has involved the capital expenditure of around Rs. 50 Crores (net of recoverable taxes) and the same has been financed partly by internal accruals and partly by availing borrowing from the bank.
Shares of Kirloskar Ferrous Industries Ltd was last trading in BSE at Rs. 544.65 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 530.25. The total number of shares traded during the day was 22155 in over 553 trades.
The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 548.00 and intraday low of 526.15. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 12008963.00.
