Vardhman Polytex Ltd approves closure of operations at Bathinda unit

The board of directors of Vardhman Polytex Limited at its meeting held today i,e., Wednesday, 6th March, 2024 has considered and approved the closure of operations at manufacturing unit of company located at Badal Road, Bathinda for non viability due to deteriorating condition of machines & high operational cost and operational losses.

Shares of Vardhman Polytex Limited was last trading in BSE at Rs. 78.66 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 74.92. The total number of shares traded during the day was 17813 in over 115 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 78.66 and intraday low of 75.50. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 1387787.00.
