Dynacons Systems & Solutions Ltd, a leading provider of innovative technology solutions, has been awarded a significant contract by Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) worth Rs 90.02 crores to deliver an Integrated Telecom Network and IT solution for a prominent customer of BSNL. The comprehensive solution will also include a Command Centre and Network Operations Center (NOC) to enhance BSNL's capabilities in serving its customer.
BSNL is the state-owned telecom operator (100% owned by Government of India) in India providing land line, mobile, broadband, FTTH, satellite and other services all over the country. It has a strong Enterprise Business portfolio with many of the leading companies as customers for its Enterprise services like MPLS VPN, P2P and Internet Leased Lines, etc.
Under the terms of the contract, Dynacons will leverage its expertise in cutting-edge technology to design, implement, and manage a state-of-the-art network infrastructure. The solution aims to optimize network performance, improve reliability, and enhance overall customer experience. The proposed Secure Edge solution is to be implemented for Customer's network transformation from the present architecture to a modern, centralized, self-healing architecture that provides seamless connectivity, security, and complete visibility into the Customer's network.
The solution supports multi-tenancy and segmentation at all layers that will enable Customer to segregate their network and other networks like the Custodian network using Role-based access control (RBAC). Denial-of-Service (DoS) mitigation and firewall function like URL filtering, DNS filtering, IPS, etc. will be enabled at Hub locations to protect the customer's infrastructure from any attacks that can be initiated from the Internet via the ILL circuit at Hub locations. The CPEs will be bootstrapped using Zero-Touch provisioning without requiring skilled engineers with technical expertise on site. This helps customers to turn up sites faster. The proposed solution is equipped with integrated SIM technology, incorporating 5G/LTE capabilities.
The project includes the setup, implementation & management of MPLS Command Centre (MCC) /Network Operation Centre (NOC) at Customer premises along with provisioning of support for 99.5 percent uptime along with the technical resource/manpower to run the NOC and Help Desk as a managed services for 5 Years.
Key features of the Integrated Network and IT Solution include:
Command Centre: A centralized hub equipped with advanced monitoring and control systems, enabling BSNL to efficiently manage and coordinate various aspects of its network operations for its customer. The Command Centre will provide real-time insights into network performance, security, and overall operational health.
Network Operations Center (NOC): An advanced facility designed to monitor, analyze, and respond to network issues promptly. The NOC will serve as the nerve center for the network operations, ensuring proactive identification and resolution of potential challenges.
Enhanced Customer Experience: The solution will contribute to improved customer satisfaction by minimizing downtime, optimizing network performance, and enabling faster fault resolution.
