REC designated as Program Implementation Agency for Rooftop Solar programme

The Ministry of New and Renewable Energy, Government of India (MNRE) vide its letter dated January 16, 2024 (Received on January 18, 2024) has designated REC Limited as the overall Programme Implementation Agency for Rooftop Solar (RTS) programme of the Ministry and also entrusted with the responsibility for execution of the programme/scheme prepared by MNRE and for coordination with all stakeholders, across the country, with an objective to achieve the cumulative capacity of 40,000 MW from RTS by the year 2026.

Shares of REC Limited was last trading in BSE at Rs. 425.20 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 426.45. The total number of shares traded during the day was 777528 in over 11908 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 429.30 and intraday low of 411.50. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 326790678.00.
