Unichem Laboratories Ltd receives ANDA approval for Doxazosin Tablets

Unichem Laboratories Limited has received ANDA approval for its Doxazosin Tablets USP, 1 mg, 2 mg, 4 mg and 8 mg from the United States Food and Drug Administration (USFDA) to market a generic version of Cardura® (Doxazosin) Tablets, 1 mg, 2 mg, 4 mg and 8 mg, of Viatris Specialty, LLC.

Doxazosin tablets are indicated for the treatment of hypertension, to lower blood pressure. The product will be commercialized from Unichem's Goa Plant.

Shares of Unichem Laboratories Limited was last trading in BSE at Rs. 445.50 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 451.00. The total number of shares traded during the day was 522 in over 99 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 455.20 and intraday low of 445.00. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 233233.00.
